Job Description

Tahoma Fuel is looking for Team Members/Cashiers for our Tahoma Fuel Stores. Team Members deliver friendly, efficient guest service and support daily store operations, including cashiering, food and beverage service, merchandising, stocking, cleanliness, and safety. They collaborate with supervisors and coworkers to maintain a welcoming, well-organized, and compliant store environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain excellent attendance, punctuality, and wide variety of shift availability
  • Greet guests, answer questions, and provide friendly, helpful service
  • Accurately process transactions and follow established cash-handling procedures
  • Prepare, stock, merchandise, and maintain food service, beverage, and retail areas according to company standards
  • Receive, rotate, stock, and replenish merchandise while maintaining accurate pricing and product availability
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe sales-floor, restroom, food-service, and exterior areas
  • Follow company policies and procedures for food safety, fuel operations, workplace safety, and regulatory compliance
  • Support inventory counts, product rotation, waste reduction, and loss-prevention efforts
  • Monitor store conditions and promptly report maintenance, safety, inventory, or guest-service concerns to management
  • Collaborate with team members to complete assigned tasks and support efficient store operations
  • Complete required training, checklists, and assigned tasks accurately and on time
  • Maintain a professional appearance and follow uniform requirements
  • Identify improvement opportunities and potential risks and share them with management
  • Use company equipment, supplies, and other resources responsibly, and help protect PTE assets.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with employees, guests, vendors, business partners, regulatory agencies, and the communities PTE serves
  • Follow workplace safety practices and promptly report hazards, incidents, injuries, and near misses
  • Protect confidential and proprietary information

REQUIREMENTS:

Minimum

  • 18 years or older
  • Ability to learn and use company systems, including point-of-sale (POS) and inventory software
  • Strong customer service and people skills
  • Ability to manage time, take initiative, and work effectively with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while following established procedures
  • Professional, dependable, accountable, and trustworthy
  • Team-oriented and willing to help complete store tasks
  • Ability to remain calm, focused, and productive during interruptions or stressful situations
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to safely prepare full range of food products
  • Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, and work in refrigerated and freezer areas
  • Reliable transportation
  • Cultural awareness and respect for the diversity of PTE and the communities it serves
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with at least 10 available shift times per week, including four weekend shift times
  • Pass background check

Preferred

  • Experience in retail, convenience stores, fuel, food service, or hospitality
  • Experience using a point-of-sale (POS) system and handling cash
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Related vocational training or certifications
