Our fast-paced local produce market and garden center has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for full-time and part-time cashiers who are self-motivated, detail-oriented individuals with strong customer service skills.

As a cashier associate for a family-owned business, you will play an important role in providing friendly customer service and maintaining customer loyalty.

• You will be responsible for operating point-of-sale cash registers with accuracy and efficiency while ensuring a fast and friendly checkout experience.
• Accurately ring in sales using a scanner, touchscreen, and keyed in item codes
• Accurately create a variety of handwritten sales records including invoices and load tickets
• Assist customers with requests and inquiries
• Assist in maintaining a clean and tidy workstation and retail displays
• Become knowledgeable in the seasonal variety of goods and services offered and available

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

• Pay $17.13 to $19.00 per hour

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to secure a Washington State Food Handlers Card
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition and subtraction.)
• Ability to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 35# occasionally
• Capable of working in an environment of varying temperatures and humidity
