Job Description
The Security Operations Administrator is responsible for overseeing day-to-day security operations at a specific client site, while performing essential administrative tasks in support of the organization’s security program. This role combines on-site security responsibilities with administrative functions, including scheduling, reporting, compliance oversight, and coordination with the client Superintendent and other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily security operations, including monitoring access points and supervising security protocols.
Develop and maintain security schedules, incident reports, and compliance documentation, as needed.
Serve as the primary point of contact for on-site security-related administrative matters.
Conduct periodic security audits and prepare summary reports for management review.
Make recommendations regarding the management and update of security policies and procedures in alignment with OSHA standards, as needed.
Oversee the maintenance and inventory of security equipment and supplies.
Undertake staff training, orientation, and ongoing education regarding security protocols.
Respond to security incidents and coordinate appropriate administrative follow-up.
Supervise, schedule, and manage a team of 2–5 security officers assigned to the site, ensuring that all security personnel maintain professionalism, proper appearance, and compliance with site policies and procedures.
Support the Operations Department with security clearance and other processes as required.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, administration, or related field preferred.
Prior experience in security services, operations and administrative roles preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and record-keeping skills.
Knowledge of security best practices.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Working Conditions:
Primarily on-site with a combination of office-based administrative work and active monitoring of the premises
