Job Description
Description:
We are seeking a positive, safety minded, and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team to provide management support and assist operations to ensure that projects are completed accurately, on time, and within budget.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Coordinate project activities and ensure all phases are completed on time by monitoring and updating project dates in order management system.
- Assist in preparing project proposals, schedules, and budgets by entering relevant data into the deliverables database, assembling data packets, and creating PowerPoint presentations achieving a consistent look through the disciplined use of templates.
- Collaborate with the project team to identify and resolve issues.
- Manage project documentation and maintain accurate records by working with engineers, project managers, and modelers to create product files, job folders, and project submittals.
- Organize project close-out including the preparation of turnover documents and Operations and Maintenance manuals and archiving that documentation.
- Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills and/or qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in project coordination within job shop manufacturing or construction industry.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong document control skills.
- Proficient in PC and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Can read, analyze, and interpret complex documents, including construction and engineering documents.
- Above-average mathematical & typing skills.
- Understanding of BOMs.
- Willingness to take on other responsibilities and grow personally & professionally.
- Responsible, accountable, communicative, reliable, self-motivated and flexible plus able to work under pressure with a positive attitude.
- Experience with Bluebeam is a plus.
