ABOUT ASAHI BEER USA / OCTOPI BREWING
Founded in 2014 as a Wisconsin contract brewery, Octopi Brewing has spent over a decade brewing and packaging beer, seltzers, RTDs, and sodas for clients nationwide. In 2024, Asahi — brewers of Asahi Super Dry — acquired Octopi, making us the U.S. production home of Super Dry. Today, our 250+ person team of beverage industry pros keeps that same local, quality-first spirit alive at a state-of-the-art facility. Our Warehouse team keeps raw materials, packaging, and finished product moving accurately between our brewery, co-packing partners, and distribution — and the Warehouse Lead is the frontline leader who keeps that flow on track.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for a Warehouse Lead to serve as the go-to floor leader for our warehouse team — coordinating daily activity, keeping SOPs and safety front and center, and stepping in wherever the team needs support to keep material and product flow running smoothly.
WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE GREAT
• Real frontline leadership — you're the first point of contact for the team, with room to train, coach, and problem-solve daily
• A direct line to the Warehouse Supervisor and Inventory Manager, with visibility across the full warehouse operation
• Hands-on variety — receiving, staging, loading, inventory integrity, and team coordination, not just one repetitive task
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Coordinate and support daily receiving, storage, replenishment, picking, staging, loading, and dispatch of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods
• Serve as the first point of contact for warehouse associates, providing direction, monitoring task completion, and reinforcing SOPs
• Support material and product flow between warehouse locations, brewery production, co-packers, and 3PL partners
• Lead by example on safety, housekeeping, quality, and equipment operating practices
• Help organize daily labor and equipment priorities, facilitate shift handovers, and train team members
• Partner with the Inventory Manager on product identification, traceability, stock rotation (FIFO/FEFO), and inventory accuracy
WHAT YOU BRING
Must-haves:
• Forklift certification
• Able to lift, move, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs regularly, and up to 160 lbs occasionally
• Comfortable twisting, turning, crouching, stooping, and squatting repeatedly throughout the workday
• High school diploma or equivalent
Nice-to-haves:
• Further education in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field
• Warehouse, forklift, Health & Safety, food safety, or leadership training
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and warehouse/ERP systems
BENEFITS & PERKS
• Medical, dental, and vision coverage — effective the 1st of the month after 30 days
• Company-paid life, short-term, and long-term disability insurance
• 401(k) eligible after 3 months, with company match — 100% up to 3%, 50% on the next 2%
• 120 hours of PTO annually, with accrual that grows the longer you're here
• 9 paid holidays (if they fall on your scheduled workday)
• A free beer after shift, because you earned it
PAY & SCHEDULE
• Pay: Starting at $22.00/hr
• Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:00pm
Full-time, non-exempt
