Contracts Specialist

This role is an excellent entry point into the intersection of contracts, business operations, and legal-adjacent work within a fast-paced global technology environment. You will learn how commercial agreements are structured, reviewed, and executed while supporting cross-functional teams across sales, finance, and services. You will gain hands-on exposure to deal management tools and learn how contract data flows through the business to support delivery, billing, and customer success. Accountabilities

In this role, you will support the drafting, review, and execution of contracts while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment across commercial and operational teams.

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and refining contracts with guidance from senior team members
  • Support contract negotiation processes using tools such as Salesforce and contract lifecycle management platforms
  • Ensure quotes and deal data are accurate, consistent, and properly reflected across systems
  • Verify that contract terms align with customer entitlements, delivery requirements, and billing accuracy
  • Review redlined agreements, identify potential issues, and support resolution recommendations
  • Help respond to RFPs, vendor questionnaires, and documentation requests in collaboration with internal teams
  • Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders including Sales, Finance, and Customer Success teams
  • Develop product and service knowledge across consulting, support, and managed service offerings
  • Support time-sensitive contract requests across global time zones as needed
  • Participate in continuous learning and gradually take ownership of increasingly complex deal workflows
Requirements

The ideal candidate is early in their career and brings strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in learning how contracts and business operations work.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, English, Political Science, Philosophy, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • High attention to detail with demonstrated accuracy in academic, internship, or project work
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with curiosity and willingness to learn complex systems
  • Ability to work with structured processes and manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Comfortable using or learning business tools and platforms (e.g., Salesforce or CLM systems)
  • Strong critical thinking skills with an interest in contracts, business law, or commercial operations
  • Ability to work independently in a remote or distributed team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment in ambiguous situations
  • Previous exposure to contracts, finance, operations, or legal-adjacent work is an asset but not required
