Job Description
* This position is contingent upon a future opening with Gunnison.
Salary: $125,000-$140,000/year
Work location: On-site, Washington, DC. Remote will be allowed with federal client approval.
- Develop and maintain Drupal-based public-facing web platforms, including content components, templates, and backend functionality.
- Implement updates to support frequent content publishing and editorial workflows.
- Support enhancements driven by user feedback, analytics, and stakeholder requests.
- Build and maintain APIs and integrations between Drupal and external systems.
- Participate in peer reviews and testing (self-testing expected due to no separate QA layer).
- Troubleshoot production issues, including display issues, broken content, or performance degradation.
- Support deployment activities and version updates within controlled environments.
- Contribute to technical documentation and change tracking.
- 5–8 years experience in web development with strong Drupal experience.
- Experience supporting live public websites with ongoing updates.
- Experience with front-end theming and backend module development.
- Experience integrating CMS platforms with APIs and data services.
- Experience working within Agile sprint cycles.
- Experience troubleshooting issues in production environments.
- Familiarity with accessibility requirements (Section 508 preferred).
- Drupal certification
- Agile/Scrum certification
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related field
Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.
Desired Qualifications:
- Federal experience preferred.
- Web accessibility training (508/WCAG)
- Secure coding training (OWASP basics)
- Masters degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or related field
The salary range for this position depends upon multiple factors including location, the individual's knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, and contract-specific budget constraints and organizational requirements.
