Job Type: Direct Hire
Starting Pay: $32.00/hour, higher depending on experience

Qualdoc is hiring a Miscellaneous Metals Installation Foreman to lead field crews working on stairs, railings, and other miscellaneous metal installations. This position is responsible for coordinating field work, maintaining quality and safety standards, and keeping crews, materials, and equipment organized.
Responsibilities- Supervise and direct crews performing miscellaneous metals installations.
- Coordinate daily field activities with the General Contractor.
- Use blueprints to plan layouts and verify proper installation.
- Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment for each job.
- Confirm crew certifications and ensure site safety requirements are followed.
- Conduct and document daily field and vehicle inspections.
- Monitor the condition and proper use of tools, equipment, and company vehicles.
- Act as the on-site safety representative and enforce PPE and project-specific safety requirements.
- Lead Tool-Box Shop Talks and reinforce safe work practices.
- Help maintain installation quality and address field issues as they arise.
- 5+ years of experience in the miscellaneous metals industry preferred.
- Previous Foreman or supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and safety documentation.
- Strong math skills, including working with angles, degrees, and standard measurements.
- Working knowledge of AWS D1.1.
- Knowledge of welding processes including SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, and GTAW.
- Current welding certifications or the ability to successfully pass a weld test.
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills.
- Commitment to job-site safety and quality workmanship.
