Join our dynamic team at ISS STOXX as a Senior Data Integration Lead in ESG Research! Reporting directly to the Head of Strategy and Scalability, you'll be pivotal in enhancing our ESG Research offering to meet growing demand from our investor clients to deliver actionable intelligence on the activities of business and government that generate impacts, result in dependencies, and create financial risks and opportunities for investors.
We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical Associate Vice President to join our growing team. Play a pivotal role in shaping the future of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) research. You will be responsible for helping to enhance our framework to evaluate non-financial data and measure the efficacy of sustainability practices. In addition, you will help translate our research into investor solutions by liaising with stakeholders across ISS ESG including product, technology and development, and methodology.
In addition to research, you'll provide essential management support to our global team, ensuring performance, efficiency focus, evaluating, streamlining and creating scalable processes, offering data guidance and analyses, and handling administrative tasks. Collaboration is key, as you'll work with colleagues from various offices across the globe.
In this role you’ll
- Drive scalability initiatives across ESG research
- Stay abreast of scientific research relevant to sustainability.
- Leverage the growth in ESG disclosures and data to help develop market-leading high quality research efficiencies
- Help identify alternative sources of non-financial information.
- Assist investor clients with utilizing our research and streamlining research formats for digestible content
- Help conduct competitive analyses.
What you’ll bring to ISS STOXX
- Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- CFA designation is a plus.
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, standards, and regulations (e.g., GRI, TCFD, ESRS, IFRS).
- Proficiency in modeling, data analysis, and quantitative research methods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
This role is being recruited in New York City.
Base salary: The New York City expected base pay range is $95,000 - 105,000 per year. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and level of education.
