This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Enterprise Account Executive based in the United States.
This role is responsible for driving new enterprise business and expanding strategic customer relationships within an assigned territory. You will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline generation through negotiation and close. The position combines inbound lead development with proactive account-based prospecting across a targeted portfolio of enterprise organizations. You will engage senior decision-makers and business stakeholders, helping them understand how modern data and analytics solutions can address complex business needs. Success will require a consultative, value-driven approach and strong relationship-building skills. You will work closely with teams across sales, marketing, engineering, security, product, and legal to navigate complex enterprise buying processes. This is an opportunity to play a key role in scaling an innovative data technology platform across major organizations.
- Own new-logo acquisition and expansion opportunities within an assigned territory, consistently working toward and exceeding sales targets.
- Manage the complete enterprise sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, opportunity development, negotiation, and closing.
- Develop both inbound opportunities supported by marketing and outbound opportunities across a defined list of strategic target accounts.
- Build and maintain detailed relationship maps covering existing contacts, decision-makers, influencers, and prospective stakeholders throughout the territory.
- Lead compelling product and vision presentations for audiences ranging from individual contributors to C-level executives.
- Apply a consultative, value-based sales methodology focused on understanding customer challenges and connecting them to relevant use cases.
- Coordinate cross-functional resources across Sales Development, Legal, Engineering, Security, Marketing, and Product to efficiently progress complex opportunities.
- Maintain an accurate and healthy pipeline while providing timely forecasts and clear visibility into sales and revenue performance.
- Develop account strategies and penetration plans, establish relationships with senior leaders, and identify opportunities for portfolio expansion.
- Build sufficient pipeline coverage and qualified proof-of-concept opportunities to support sustained quota attainment.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience selling enterprise software solutions, with a demonstrated record of success in the data ecosystem or adjacent technology markets.
- Proven experience managing large, complex enterprise sales cycles involving C-level executives and Fortune 500 organizations.
- Strong understanding of consultative and value-based software sales across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
- Demonstrated ability to identify customer needs, develop compelling value propositions, and build trusted relationships with stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Consistent track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and delivering measurable revenue results.
- Strong prospecting, pipeline management, account planning, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication abilities, with confidence engaging both technical and executive audiences.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and sales opportunities simultaneously.
- Ability to quickly develop expertise in complex technology products, their business impact, competitive positioning, and relevant customer use cases.
- Strategic, resourceful, collaborative, and adaptable approach to working in a fast-paced technology environment.
