Monarch Investment and Management Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team at Stone Grove Apartments in Burnsville, MN.

Compensation & Benefits
  • $25.00$27.00 per hour DOE
  • Up to $3,000 annually in quarterly bonuses

Responsibilities
  • Complete assigned work orders based on priority
  • Assist with apartment make-readies and unit turns
  • Perform painting and staining for interior and exterior projects
  • Help maintain community grounds and curb appeal
  • Assist with preventative maintenance projects
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized maintenance shop
  • Support exterior structural maintenance and repairs
  • Participate in rotating emergency on-call coverage
  • Assist with snow removal when applicable
  • Support pool maintenance as needed
  • Follow Monarchs professional behavioral standards
  • Complete additional maintenance projects as assigned
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience
  • Basic drywall, painting, and carpentry experience preferred
  • Basic electrical knowledge including outlets, switches, and fixtures
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Commitment to excellent resident customer service
  • Willingness to complete basic training within the first 30 days
  • Ability to work Monday Friday 8AM to 5PM, On-Call is 1 week every 3 weeks
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required
Additional Requirements
  • A hands-on skills assessment will be conducted during the interview process to demonstrate your ability to perform essential maintenance duties
  • This position requires successful completion of a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screening
