Overview: The Strategic Solutions Advisor partners across Product, Commercial Strategy, Business Solutions, and Sales to provide healthcare industry expertise, regulatory guidance, and strategic solution-fit support that aligns client needs with Inovalon solutions. This role serves as a trusted advisor during client engagements and internal strategy discussions by providing and assessing considerations that support client success and business growth.

The Strategic Solutions Advisor works closely with Product, Commercial Strategy, Business Solutions, and Sales teams to support client engagements, go-to-market initiatives, fit gap analysis, and strategic solution discussions. This role also helps translate client and market insights into actionable recommendations that support product positioning and future solution development.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Serves as a trusted advisor to internal and external stakeholders by providing healthcare industry expertise, business process guidance, and strategic solution recommendations

Partners with Product, Commercial Strategy, Business Solutions, and Sales teams to align client needs and operational challenges with Inovalon solutions

Leads client-facing workflow discussions, solution demonstrations, discovery conversations, and strategic presentations

Analyzes client business needs, operational workflows, and market trends to identify solution opportunities and recommend strategies aligned to client objectives

Provides consultative support for RFPs, client discussions, and go-to-market initiatives

Helps shape solution positioning and commercialization strategies by identifying client pain points, integration considerations, and market insights

Collaborates cross-functionally to support successful client outcomes, solution adoption readiness, and revenue growth initiatives

Serves as a resource for healthcare operational best practices, workflow alignment, and solution strategy discussions

Develops and maintains strong professional relationships internally and externally

Presents findings, recommendations, and solution approaches clearly and effectively to leadership, client, and cross-functional stakeholders

Provides mentorship and guidance to colleagues through knowledge sharing and collaborative problem solving

Participates in industry organizations, conferences, and forums and may present virtually and/or onsite at client meetings and events

Maintains knowledge of healthcare industry trends, operational challenges, and Inovalon products and solutions

Maintain compliance with Inovalons policies, procedures and mission statement;

Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalons Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position; and

Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Employer.

Job Requirements:

Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, solution consulting, healthcare technology, product strategy, commercialization, or client advisory

Experience supporting healthcare products and/or Risk Adjustment, Quality Measures, EHR, Pharma, Provider, ScriptMed, or related healthcare solutions

Demonstrated expertise in healthcare operational workflows, client engagement, and strategic solutioning

Advance knowledge and usage of Microsoft Office Suite

Strong consultative communication, presentation, collaboration, and problem-solving skills

Demonstrated ability to build relationships and effectively communicate with technical, operational, and executive stakeholders

Ability to identify and translate ambiguous client needs into actionable recommendations and business strategies

Advanced understanding of healthcare operations, solution positioning, commercialization strategies, and client engagement approaches

Ability to analyze complex business and operational challenges and provide strategic recommendations

Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and maintain strong attention to detail: and

Intermediate understanding of company financial measures and business drivers

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business, Technical, or a related field required

Masters degree preferred

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time);

Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;

Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;

Subject to inside environmental conditions; and

Travel is expected to be 50-75% as needed for client site visits.

Inovalon Offers a Competitive Salary and Benefits Package

In addition to the base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At Inovalon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

Base Compensation Range
$149,100—$200,000 USD

This position is not eligible for immigration sponsorship (e.g. H-1B, TN, or E-3). Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States as a condition of employment. (This is only applicable for US-based positions)
