Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Critical Facilities Manager to join our team at Applied Digital. The Critical Facilities Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of the critical infrastructure of our Datacenters. This role involves providing technical support, maintenance and troubleshooting supervision to ensure the seamless operation of all critical systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the maintenance of all mechanical, electrical, life safety, and general building. (MEP Infrastructure).
  • Perform site inspections.
  • Monitor and respond to datacenter alarms.
  • Lead vendors in maintenance activities.
  • Review and approve all systems MOPs and scripts.
  • Supervise all critical maintenance activities.
  • Manage maintenance Capex and Operations budget for the site.
  • Recommend Capex project for site efficiency and improvements.
  • This role is typically Monday - Friday but will require weekend work when the maintenance schedule requires and for operational emergencies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years' experience in managing a data center critical infrastructure or 5+ years' in managing critical infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of medium voltage systems and safety procedures.
  • Knowledge of Commercial HVAC equipment.
  • Strong management skills.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and complex schematics.
  • Computer acumen to include strong understanding of the function and application of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) as well as common office technology including MS office suite of software and other Web based tools.
  • Strong Oral/Written Communication skills.

  • Continuous Improvement Mindset: Recommends and supports efficiency, safety, and system innovations.
  • Documentation Discipline: Maintains clear, consistent records for operational continuity and compliance.
  • Security Compliance: Maintains awareness of data center physical and logical security expectations.
  • Digital Literacy: Uses productivity tools (e.g., Outlook, Teams, Excel, ticketing systems) for communication and documentation in office or hybrid settings.

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to remain in a seated position for an extended period and to lift and carry up to 15 lbs. (office manuals, case notebooks, case files, case materials, standard boxes, report binders, etc.) as needed.
