This is a high-impact role within a strategy and operations environment, focused on using data, automation, and AI to solve complex business challenges.
You will develop intelligent workflows and analytical solutions that improve product quality, reduce fraud, minimize billing errors, and optimize network economics.
The role combines hands-on technical execution with strategic problem-solving across complex telecommunications datasets.
You will work closely with teams across carrier relations, engineering, product, supply operations, and finance to turn business needs into scalable data products.
From SQL analysis and dashboards to Python automation and agentic AI workflows, you will modernize how teams investigate problems and access insights.
The position offers significant ownership, allowing you to take projects from ambiguous problem definition through technical design, deployment, and measurable impact.

- Architect, test, and deploy LLM-powered agents and AI workflows that automate complex, multi-step, and previously manual data investigations.
- Build Python-based automation, APIs, and workflow solutions that transform repetitive processes into scalable, reliable operational capabilities.
- Develop both individual productivity tools and multi-user workflows that improve human efficiency and enable business teams to self-serve insights.
- Establish strong data architecture and AI orchestration practices focused on safety, accuracy, efficiency, maintainability, and reliable outputs.
- Perform advanced SQL analysis and root-cause investigations across complex telecommunications datasets to identify opportunities to improve network quality, reduce fraud, minimize billing errors, and optimize gross margins.
- Create dashboards and repeatable business intelligence solutions using tools such as Tableau, Looker, Python, Google Sheets, or Excel.
- Define meaningful KPIs and develop mechanisms to monitor performance, trends, and business outcomes over time.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into clear data requirements, governance standards, pipelines, and scalable data products.
- Communicate analytical findings clearly through written recommendations and verbal presentations that directly address business questions.
- Take end-to-end ownership of data products, from scoping and requirements gathering through documentation, development, execution, delivery, and ongoing improvement.
- Identify opportunities to replace manual analytics processes with innovative, agentic workflows and rapidly prototype solutions for future operational needs.
- Manage multiple priorities and ensure projects are delivered on schedule, to a high standard, and with measurable business and customer impact.
- 5+ years of professional experience developing technical data, analytics, automation, or related solutions.
- Extensive experience with SQL, relational databases, and complex data schemas.
- Strong proficiency with Google Sheets or Excel and experience with business intelligence platforms such as Tableau and/or Looker.
- Hands-on experience using Python, APIs, or workflow automation platforms such as Airtable, Coefficient, Zapier, or n8n to create automated data workflows and process pipelines.
- Experience building AI agents and applying LLM technologies to complex, multi-step, and unstructured problems, including familiarity with platforms or tools such as Claude, OpenAI, Gemini, or comparable technologies.
- Strong understanding of data management, governance, quality, hygiene, and responsible use of technology.
- Ability to break ambiguous business problems into structured, manageable components and translate them into practical technical solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex analysis into clear, actionable insights.
- Demonstrated ability to use technology within appropriate frameworks and metrics to maintain accuracy, efficiency, safety, and maintainability.
- Familiarity with telecommunications, messaging, or voice networks is preferred.
- Experience in SaaS, technology, management consulting, investment banking, or another analytical and technology-intensive environment is advantageous.
- Experience with project management, requirements gathering, and collaboration with data or engineering teams is a plus.
- Experience working with customers, vendors, external partners, or other diverse stakeholders is desirable.
- A strong ownership mindset, curiosity, initiative, and ability to operate effectively in an evolving, fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for project or team meetings.
- The role is remote and is specifically based in Ontario, British Columbia, or Alberta, Canada, despite the broader United States location designation.
- Base salary: CAD $99,760–$124,700, with starting compensation determined by skills, experience, and geographic location.
- Target bonus: 12.5%.
