Position Overview
OKSI is seeking a creative marketer and content creator to join their team supporting mission-critical technologies for defense and government customers. You'll create compelling multimedia narratives around products, technology, culture, and partnerships while managing marketing and business development operations. This role requires hands-on photography, videography, and storytelling skills—plus the operational chops to manage tradeshow logistics and inventory.
What You Will Do
Content Strategy & Creative Direction
- Develop content strategy, brand voice, and editorial direction across all channels
- Create video and photography content; make creative decisions on messaging, angle, and narrative
- Establish visual brand standards and oversee presentation quality
- Lead PR strategy and manage vendor/publication relationships for earned media
Digital Marketing Strategy
- Manage company website content and SEO strategy; oversee CRM marketing tools
- Manage all social media (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, X), including analytics and editorial calendar
- Conduct market research to identify trends and competitive analysis
Culture & Events
- Lead quarterly event strategy and culture initiatives; plan and execute events
- Support HR onboarding with marketing materials and company overview
- Manage marketing/BD asset strategy and inventory (prototypes, displays, swag, gear, media equipment)
- Manage event setup, breakdown, and logistics
- Manage SWAG and promotional material strategy and design
- Camera operations (photo and video capture)
- Graphic design (Canva, Adobe Photoshop)
- Video/photo editing (DaVinci, Premier Pro, After Effects, or equivalent)
- Website development (WordPress) and content management
- AI-generated content production and AI tools proficiency
- 2–3+ years of content generation experience
- Self-motivated, organized, excellent problem-solving and time management
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or related field OR military experience and/or strong creative portfolio in lieu of degree
Preferred Qualifications
- Comfortable around and experienced with firearms and military equipment (you'll be capturing content at live-fire demos and field testing)
- FAA drone license (obtained or obtainable)
- Experience in tech, aerospace, defense, or military service
- Portfolio of creative work demonstrating technical and visual quality
Logistics & Travel
- 2x per week on-site in Torrance, CA minimum; may travel up to 25% to tradeshows, demos, and business events
- Must have reliable vehicle; ability to commute around SoCal for events
- Frequently lift/carry up to 50 lbs (marketing materials, equipment)
- May work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as business needs dictate
Additional Details

Compensation and Benefits
- $50,000 - $70,000 annually
