Position Description:
What You'll Do

Senior Design Leadership Lead all aspects of process piping design on projects of all sizes and complexity levels. Collaborate directly with Project Managers and Engineers throughout project lifecycles from conception to completion.

Complex Project Management Manage medium to complex equipment and piping layouts while overseeing project estimation, status reporting, and construction estimates using Anvil's project management systems.

Technical Authority Conduct interdisciplinary reviews, vendor document assessments, and layout reviews. Participate in project planning and development of comprehensive project scopes.

What You Bring

Must-Have Qualifications
  • Education: A.A.S. or higher in engineering or related discipline
  • Experience: 10-25 years in process pipe design in hydrocarbon service
  • Technical Skills: 3D modeling design experience in CADworx (required)
  • Project Scale: All project sizes from small to complex
Essential Requirements
  • Strong communication, organization, and computer skills
  • Advanced analytical skills and team leadership abilities
  • Expertise in retrofit design in congested operating areas
  • Comprehensive understanding of safety and maintainability requirements
  • Ability to obtain TWIC card

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Able to sit/stand, type, and perform computer work for long periods of time.
  • Frequent use of hands/fingers for computer entry and answering calls.
  • Able to perform occasional bending, lifting, and reaching.
  • Must be able to lift 15 lbs if necessary.
  • Visual acuity sufficient for reading documents, computer screens, and technical materials.
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally in-person, by phone, and via video conferencing.
  • Hearing ability adequate for meetings, presentations, and collaboration.
  • Ability to concentrate and maintain attention for extended periods while managing multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work irregular hours including evenings and weekends as business needs require.
  • Able to travel to job sites (local and/or remote) as project needs require.
  • Able to work in heavy industrial environments while wearing required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed boots, fire-retardant clothing, gloves, etc.).
  • Able to climb ladders, stairs, and work on elevated surfaces.
  • Able to walk on uneven terrain and surfaces.
  • May be exposed to outdoor weather conditions and industrial environments during site visits.
