Job Description

The IT Analyst LEVEL I/II provides hands-on technical support for plant operations, ensuring reliable performance of computers, networks, applications, and production systems. This is a boots-on-the-ground role responsible for troubleshooting user issues, deploying and replacing hardware, supporting business applications, and assisting with IT infrastructure and software licensing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general IT support to plant users, including computer deployments, hardware replacements, software installations, and end-user troubleshooting.
  • Deliver hands-on support for production and office systems, responding quickly to technical issues impacting operations.
  • Assist with network troubleshooting, including cable tracing, connectivity issues, identifying damaged equipment, and basic network diagnostics.
  • Support license management activities, including software activations, reactivations, renewals, and user access administration.
  • Develop and maintain business applications and process improvements using Power Apps, SharePoint, React, C#, ASP.NET, and related technologies.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and business teams to support manufacturing applications and technology initiatives.
  • Document technical issues, resolutions, procedures, and system changes.
  • Participate in IT projects involving hardware, software, infrastructure, and process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 1-5 years of IT support experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, PC hardware, and peripheral devices.
  • Basic networking knowledge, including troubleshooting connectivity issues and network infrastructure components.
  • Experience or familiarity with Power Apps, SharePoint, React, C#, ASP.NET, or similar application development technologies.
  • Strong troubleshooting, customer service, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a hands-on plant environment.

This position combines end-user support, basic networking, and application development responsibilities to support the technology needs of a manufacturing operation.
