QuikCut is looking for detail-oriented Laser Operators on 1st and 2nd shift to join our fabrication team. If you enjoy precision work, operating advanced manufacturing equipment, and producing high-quality parts, we'd love to hear from you. As a Laser Operator, you'll operate and maintain laser cutting equipment to produce precision metal components that meet customer specifications. Your work is essential to ensuring quality products are delivered accurately and on time. What You'll Do
- Operate laser cutting machines to cut, shape, and process metal components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, work orders, and manufacturing instructions.
- Set up machine programs, adjust cutting parameters, and verify machine settings.
- Inspect finished parts to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards are met.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and basic troubleshooting on laser cutting equipment.
- Identify and report quality concerns, equipment issues, or production challenges promptly.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
- Work closely with production, quality, and material handling teams to meet daily production goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area while supporting 5S and lean manufacturing initiatives.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience operating laser cutting equipment, fiber lasers, or similar CNC manufacturing equipment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift materials throughout the workday.
