Job Description:

The Senior Intelligence Analyst role reports directly to the Intelligence Executive Director and is responsible for crafting and delivering strategic and tactical intelligence reports and consultancy to a portfolio of global clients that includes C-Suite executives, corporate communications teams, global communication consultancies, brands and international media organisations. The Storyful Intelligence team combines the skills of researchers, journalists, data analysts and communications professionals, and works with a diverse portfolio of global clients. The team provides intelligence assessments around campaigns, events, launches and key areas of interest to companies, as well as on consumer insights, industry trends and brand perception by researching social data, media, and the wider web. The right candidate will have a passion for finding, digesting and analyzing raw data to find the narrative behind the numbers with an ability to understand how to use different sources of data to create a more complete picture of the questions posed-and a deep curiosity for how to continually improve on these capabilities.

The Senior Intelligence Analyst is a key part of a nimble team of analysts and strategists as part of a wider global collaborative effort to develop world-class, innovative intelligence reporting solutions for C-Suite communications and other corporate executives. The ideal candidate has a minimum of two years experience performing research and analysis in social media, financial services, consultancy, corporate communications, consumer insights, newsroom, or brand/agency environment and is passionate about the potential of data-driven social intelligence to lead the way in the development of strategic communications, branding and marketing plans.

This role demands a flexible attitude and attention to detail. You have the ability to multitask on projects at varying levels of complexity, collaborate across teams and act as project lead on client deliverables, while ensuring the quality of the final result. You are completely comfortable with new technology; working with product teams to develop internal and external tools. You are also comfortable working as part of a global team, and navigating a changing media landscape.

Responsibilities:
  • Takes responsibility to work with the existing Dublin Intelligence team to deliver against client execution, meeting and exceeding Key Performance Indicators.
  • Works to shape report creation based on client briefing, mine data using a variety of quantitative and qualitative tools, and ultimately craft reports that provide clients with insight, direction and guidance based on the research done.
  • Actively participates in the building of reporting solutions based on market direction and client needs.
  • Participates in the delivery of allocated RFPs (request for proposal) from a strategic intelligence and consultancy standpoint.
  • Works with Storyful product teams to guide evolution of internal product suite.
  • Develops and adheres to best practice processes-including rigorous maintenance of Storyful's high standards in terms of copy, presentation, reporting and client relations.


Skills & Experience desired:
  • At least two years of relevant experience within a social media, corporate communications, consultancy, market research, consumer insights, media or brand agency environment
  • Familiarity and strong interest in leading social media platforms and open source intelligence (OSINT) techniques.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and client management skills.
  • Innovative, proactive and hands-on approach to providing clients with creative solutions to address their challenges. Previous experience with client-facing activity a plus.
  • Aptitude for building and leveraging business resources and processes to ensure the team works effectively with a collaborative mindset.
  • Can work strategically to identify core insights and intelligence to drive communications outcomes that fit the business objectives of the client
  • Proficiency in writing skills to craft internal and client correspondence, communications plans, new business proposals, etc.
  • Highest standards of copy editing, fact-checking and writing skills.
  • BA/MA qualified in a related discipline
  • Experience in Python or R, a plus
  • Experience using online monitoring tools such as BrandWatch, BuzzSumo, Mintel, Crimson Hexagon, NewsWhip, Factiva, Sysomos a plus.

Base Pay Range: 50,000 (EUR) - 65,000 (EUR)
