Nurses here gain exposure to a wide range of procedures, from central lines, ports, and chemotherapy to advanced urology and surgical interventions. We foster a highly collaborative environment with on-staff hospitalists, consultants, and a skilled support team including RT, wound care, and pharmacy.Our nurses are EKG- and ACLS-trained, with support to become Oncology Certified Nurses.SUMMARY:Under the direction of the department director/charge nurse, patients and families are provided competent holistic care based on the nursing process.

EXPERIENCE: One year medical surgical nursing/oncology nursing preferred

SPECIAL SKILLS: Chemotherapy expertise preferred

OTHER: Basic computer skills

LICENSE/CERT: Required: RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri, BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)
