Assistant Manager, RN - Psychiatry in Gastonia, North Carolina at CaroMont Health

Job Summary: Provides leadership, manages, and coordinates activities of multiple units. Participates in the coordination of patient care and departmental activities consistent with the corporate, division, and departmental mission statement and values.

Qualifications: Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license). BSN preferred. Two years progressive nursing experience in an acute hospital with outstanding leadership skills documented. Thorough knowledge of specialty nursing principles, methods, and technique. Specialty certification specific to Psychiatry required within two (2) years of hire date. Able to deal tactfully with staff, patients, physicians, ancillary professional, and families. Considerable ability to manage, coach, and provide motivated environment. Must maintain BLS certification.
