Responsibilities

We’re seeking an amazing Data Analyst – Product Owner to join the Property and Casualty Auto/Fire Test Enablement Innovation Team. You’ll work in a fast-paced, creative environment to deliver software solutions that help business partners improve testing, business processes, and services.
This role emphasizes end-to-end execution—from solution design and development to deployment—and a mindset focused on innovation, including agentic AI, GenAI, and cloud/platform engineering.

You’ll have opportunities to lead small development teams, collaborate with engineers across the department, and influence improvements to test strategy, operational workflows, and software delivery practices.

• Designs, develops and tests solutions for automating various types of tests
• Proactively increases knowledge in the data industry and its related technologies and tools to work on a wide variety of assignments and products
• Collects and analyzes information to identify customer's technical needs, suggest solutions and develop implementation and integration plans (e.g., technical proposals)
• Establishes business domain knowledge for existing State Farm data sources and investigates, recommends, and initiates acquisition of data resources, both internal and external
• Responsible for the analysis, design, deployment, support, and security of technology to ensure the organization is efficiently managing its technology and data-related assets in accordance with market best-practices and external regulations
• Exhibits DevOps and Agile mindset where team is accountable for product from inception to sunset, and demonstrates a growth mindset
• Develops and analyzes functional specifications, and partners with engineers to build and implement technology solutions
• Assists the product leader with defining the user stories, and owns non-development stories
• Works in collaboration with product team, leads and stakeholders to understand, analyze, document, and communicate requirements aligning to the product objective, vision, and strategy; uses outcomes as measures of success and value delivery
• Provides product and/or process knowledge to support design, development, testing and execution of solutions
• Ensures work and/or the work of their teams complies with enterprise policies and standards within their domain of expertise and area of responsibilities
• Performs user acceptance testing including end user, performance, or business user testing, and engages in the development of test automation
• Identifies, manages, and facilitates the resolution of risks, issues, and defects
• Provides support for problem and issue resolution and provides consultation and direction to business and department partners



Qualifications

• Preferably Property & Casualty Experience
• AI and ML Experience is a Plus
• Very good at TFE (Terraform Enterprise)
• Good experience with using Karate/SoapUI / Postman / JMeter/Artillery/Gatling Tools
• Experience in Automate scripts
• Git Lab CI/CD pipelines from scratch
• Comfortable with Onsite and Offshore model.

  • Potential starting salary range: $80,000 - $125,000
    • Starting salary will be based on skills, background, and experience
    • High end of the range limited to applicants with significant relevant experience
