Data Analyst
Master Meter is a leading manufacturer of Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) products (water meters) for the water utility industry. For over 40 years Master Meter has provided water utilities with the products and services required to maximize revenue, optimize operations, and deliver world class customer support.
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Mansfield, TX. Standard work hours are 8 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday.

Position Summary:
The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, maintaining, analyzing and interpreting data to provide customer feedback externally and actionable insights internally to drive informed decision making. This position works closely with key stakeholders to understand data needs, develop analytical solutions to help solve business challenges, and present findings in a clear, concise manner.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Data Collection and Validation:
Extract data from databases and field findings and load into CRM
Transform data into usable formats which assist stakeholders with decision-making and strategy
Clean and process data to ensure accuracy and consistency
Identify and address data quality issues and discrepancies
Implement data quality controls and monitoring mechanisms
Data Analysis and Interpretation:
Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies to aid in proactive action
Apply statistical and analytical techniques to derive insights from complex datasets
Reporting, Presenting and Visualization
Create visually appealing and interactive dashboards, reports, and presentations
Collaborate with various teams to design and deliver actionable insights
Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
Education/Experience/Skill Requirements:
Three years’ analysis and data visualization tool experience (preferably in a customer service or related role)
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field, or at least 3 years additional equivalent work experience.
Field of study: Data analytics, customer focus
Proven experience in data collection, maintenance and analysis
Well developed skills with business intelligence tools and systems
A keen interest in acquiring necessary skills with an ability to learn quickly
Proficiency with data analysis tools and databases
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Ability to write technical reports that can be utilized throughout the company
A keen willingness to help the team and learn new skills (essential)
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is a plus
Knowledge of machine learning and data mining techniques is desirable
