- Design and implement structured learning programs for MIG, TIG, stainless steel, and emerging welding technologies.
- Deliver welding training and technical support across all three shifts, covering both new processes and existing procedures.
- Identify welding skill gaps across multiple product lines and develop targeted training solutions.
- Support and promote welding career pathways, including skill progression and certification readiness.
- Partner with manufacturing and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement in welding processes.
- Assist with root-cause analysis and problem-solving related to welding quality, defects, and process variation.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry-leading welding techniques, technologies, and procedures through external training, research, and collaboration with multiple vendors.
- Develop and deliver clear, structured training objectives, ensuring a safe, organized, and controlled learning environment in both classroom and lab settings.
- Maintain, inspect, and organize training aids, tooling, fixtures, equipment, and consumables.
- Foster an environment of active learning, professionalism, and accountability, ensuring all trainees meet established expectations.
- Identify weld quality issues and implement corrective improvements through structured on-the-job training (OJT).
- Collaborate with management and cross-functional partners to define learning outcomes, skills matrices, and competency standards.
- Prepare, document, and distribute regular training reports, progress metrics, and competency assessments.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives for training programs, materials, work processes, equipment, tools, and procedures, incorporating feedback from supervisors, managers, and welders.
- Manage training records, certification compliance, competency assessments, and related reporting through AG5, SuccessFactors, and other learning management systems.
- Design trainings to support hourly production.
- Coordinate and facilitate onboarding and workforce development programs to ensure alignment with organizational competency requirements.
- Maintain certifications to facilitate Crane, Forklift, and safety trainings.
- Perform special projects and additional duties as assigned to support operational and training objectives.
- Associate's degree in Welding Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Education, Human Resources Development, or related field preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience considered.
- Minimum 5-7 years of welding industry experience, including training
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with basic welding tools, techniques, and safety procedures.
- Stand at the weld station throughout the work shift.
- Walk, bend, twist, and reach frequently during the shift.
- Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds to waist level; frequently lift 25–40 pounds to waist level and up to 25 pounds above the shoulders.
- Work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to changing assignments and multitask effectively.

- Manufacturing and welding areas with exposure to heat, sparks, fumes, and noise.
