Marketing & Communications Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Marketing & Communications Manager based in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to shape the voice and growth strategy of two connected healthcare-focused brands serving both clinical and consumer audiences.
You will lead content strategy, digital marketing, communications, and audience engagement initiatives that support meaningful healthcare outcomes.
The position combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, requiring creativity, strong writing skills, and a data-driven mindset.
You will manage campaigns across multiple channels, including email, websites, social media, and educational platforms.
Working closely with clinical, operational, and growth teams, you will translate complex healthcare concepts into compelling and accessible messaging.

Accountabilities:

The Marketing & Communications Manager will own the development and execution of marketing initiatives across healthcare, education, and consumer audiences. This role requires a hands-on approach to content creation, campaign management, digital optimization, and brand development while ensuring messaging remains authentic, effective, and aligned with organizational goals.

  • Develop and execute integrated content strategies across clinical, professional education, and consumer audiences.
  • Create high-quality written content including blogs, newsletters, social media posts, email campaigns, case studies, white papers, one-pagers, and educational materials.
  • Adapt messaging and tone for different audiences, including healthcare providers, health systems, patients, and professional learners.
  • Own HubSpot marketing operations, including contact segmentation, workflows, nurture campaigns, reporting, and optimization.
  • Design and manage targeted email campaigns focused on engagement, conversion, and audience growth.
  • Analyze campaign performance metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and funnel movement to inform improvements.
  • Manage website content updates, landing pages, and digital experiences while applying SEO best practices.
  • Create branded marketing assets using design tools such as Canva, including social graphics, email visuals, presentations, and promotional materials.
  • Build and maintain social media calendars, publish content, monitor engagement, and identify opportunities for community connection.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure marketing communications are accurate, compliant, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve productivity while applying strong editorial judgment and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Proactively identify marketing opportunities, recommend improvements, and support continuous growth initiatives.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced marketing professional with strong communication skills, the ability to manage multiple audiences, and a passion for creating meaningful healthcare-focused content. They should be comfortable combining strategy, execution, analytics, and creative problem-solving in a fast-moving environment.

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing and communications, including both B2B and direct-to-consumer marketing.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills across multiple formats and audiences, including clinical, consumer, and editorial content.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot, including building workflows, email sequences, segmentation strategies, and performance reports.
  • Experience managing websites through Squarespace or a comparable content management system.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, content strategy, SEO fundamentals, and audience engagement.
  • Ability to analyze marketing data and translate insights into actionable campaign improvements.
  • Experience using AI writing and productivity tools with the ability to evaluate and improve AI-generated content.
  • Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and proactively recommend solutions.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to partner across clinical, operational, and business teams.
  • Experience in healthcare, mental health, women’s health, education, or another regulated and relationship-driven industry preferred.
  • Experience with Canva or similar design tools for creating professional marketing assets preferred.
  • Background in healthcare partnerships, provider marketing, professional education, or certification programs preferred.
  • Familiarity with social media strategy, scheduling platforms, and community engagement preferred.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation range of $55–$70 per hour depending on experience.
