This Sr. Account Director role is a high-impact commercial position focused on driving revenue growth across major CPG and multinational advertiser accounts. You will be responsible for managing and expanding strategic client relationships while also identifying and closing new business opportunities in the Canadian market. The role blends consultative selling with data-driven solution design, helping clients connect retail media, digital incentives, and in-store advertising solutions to measurable business outcomes. You will regularly engage with senior decision-makers to understand their objectives and translate them into tailored campaign strategies. Working closely with internal cross-functional teams, you will help shape compelling, insight-led proposals that drive client success. This is a dynamic, results-oriented role suited to a commercially driven professional who thrives in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.
- Develop and expand strategic relationships with existing and new enterprise clients to drive revenue growth and long-term partnerships
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities, including expansion into new categories such as pharmaceutical advertising
- Engage with senior-level decision-makers to understand business objectives and design tailored, high-value advertising solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams including Marketing, Digital Strategy, Consumer Insights, Operations, Finance, and Leadership to build strong client proposals
- Leverage data and insights to create customized, results-driven campaign recommendations aligned with client goals
- Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management, and weekly reporting on sales activity and business development progress
- Consistently ensure strong follow-through on client engagements to support retention and account growth
- Proven track record of consistent revenue growth and successful sales performance in advertising, media, or CPG-related industries
- 7+ years of experience in account management, sales, or business development roles with enterprise or multinational clients
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers
- Demonstrated success in new business development and strategic account expansion
- Highly self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of working independently with strong business judgment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to build compelling client solutions
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM tools for reporting, presentations, and pipeline management
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- University degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred
