Position Summary
Oregon Vascular Specialists is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing vascular surgery team. The ideal candidate will have experience in vascular medicine, wound care, and the management of venous disease. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with vascular surgeons in both clinic and procedural settings while providing high-quality care to patients across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive vascular assessments, including evaluation of arterial and venous disease.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with vascular conditions.
- Manage patients with peripheral arterial disease, carotid disease, aneurysmal disease, venous insufficiency, and other vascular disorders.
- Provide wound assessment, treatment, and ongoing wound management.
- Evaluate and manage patients with chronic venous disease and venous ulcers.
- Assist with and perform office-based procedures within the scope of practice and training.
- Collaborate with vascular surgeons and multidisciplinary care teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families regarding disease processes, treatment plans, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical protocols.

Requirements:Qualifications
Required:
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in Oregon (or ability to obtain).
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
Preferred:
- Experience in vascular surgery, vascular medicine, cardiology, wound care, surgery, or related specialty.
- Knowledge of vascular ultrasound findings and vascular diagnostic testing.
- Experience managing chronic wounds and venous disease.
- Experience performing minor office-based procedures.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a surgical practice.
