Bertrandt is a leading engineering and IT services provider supporting global automotive OEMs with innovative solutions. We are seeking an IT Specialist – SAP Plant Maintenance (EAM) to support a major client.
In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) systems within a modern, high-growth production environment. You will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, compliance, and optimization of plant maintenance and asset management processes.
Requirements: Key Responsibilities- Design, configure, and support the SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) module in alignment with production and business requirements.
- Perform system monitoring, health checks, troubleshooting, and ongoing optimization of SAP PM running on SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud.
- Lead and support full lifecycle implementations and enhancements of SAP PM processes.
- Configure core PM functionalities including:
- Equipment master data
- Maintenance plans
- Notifications and work orders
- Task lists and work centers
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system solutions.
- Integrate SAP PM with cross-functional modules such as MM, WM/EWM, FI, and CO.
- Provide production system support, including issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage user access, roles, and authorizations in coordination with SAP Basis and Security teams.
- Deliver training and support to key users and business stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate documentation for system configurations, processes, and changes.
- Coordinate with external AMS providers and internal development teams to ensure system stability and performance.
- Review and recommend system patches, upgrades, and SAP best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
- Minimum 8+ years of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) experience
- Strong knowledge of maintenance processes:
- Preventive
- Corrective
- Predictive
- Hands-on experience supporting and configuring SAP PM in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Experience in an automotive OEM or assembly plant environment
- Background in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and regulatory compliance
- Full-cycle SAP implementation experience
- Experience with SAP Fiori and mobile PM solutions
- Exposure to greenfield implementations or startup manufacturing environments
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a focus on system accuracy and documentation
- Strategic thinker who can also execute operational tasks effectively
- Adaptable and proactive in a rapidly evolving environment
- Positive, solution-oriented mindset
