You will work across tools such as Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace, Microsoft Intune, Jira, Confluence, and Zscaler.
A key part of the opportunity is identifying repetitive work and using automation or AI to make internal operations faster and more scalable.
You will progressively take ownership of systems projects, compliance support, provisioning workflows, and security initiatives.
This is an ideal environment for a proactive, self-directed administrator who enjoys solving complex problems and building better systems.

Accountabilities

  • Manage employee account provisioning and deprovisioning workflows, identifying opportunities to improve security, efficiency, and reliability.

  • Complete systems and IT projects independently from planning through implementation, documentation, and handoff.
  • Identify manual or repetitive workflows that can be automated and lead their technical evaluation and implementation.
  • Explore AI-enabled solutions and integrations that improve internal workflows and operational efficiency.
  • Strengthen the reliability, security, and maintainability of internal AI workflows through improved automation, integrations, and access management.
  • Support internal security and compliance audits by preparing documentation, maintaining evidence, and responding to audit requests.
  • Cross-train IT support colleagues on key systems and applications and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Progress toward autonomous ownership of the internal systems environment, balancing support responsibilities with longer-term improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Demonstrated professional experience administering internal IT systems, SaaS applications, identity platforms, endpoints, or related technology environments.
  • Hands-on experience with several of the following: Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace, Microsoft Intune, Jira, Confluence, Zoom, Zscaler, password-management platforms, or comparable enterprise tools.
  • Practical experience managing employee identity, access, provisioning, and deprovisioning workflows.
  • Experience independently administering Apple/macOS devices through an endpoint-management platform such as Jamf.
  • Proven ability to own or implement SaaS administration, SSO/IAM, endpoint management, security controls, system integrations, workflow automation, IT audit support, or escalated technical support.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with the confidence to investigate issues across multiple interconnected systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to automate or significantly improve manual IT or systems processes and articulate the resulting business impact.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing support requests, projects, deadlines, and operational priorities with minimal oversight.
  • Security-conscious approach to systems administration, documentation, permissions, and employee access.
  • Proactive, self-sufficient working style with a demonstrated history of taking ownership and delivering measurable improvements.
  • Comfortable working in a remote-first, fast-moving environment and collaborating across teams.
  • Willingness to participate in mandatory company meetings and required team travel, with travel of up to 15 days per year.
Benefits
  • Remote-first position available anywhere in the United States.
  • Base salary typically ranging from $80,000 to $88,000, depending on experience, skills, background, and other compensation factors.

  • Periodic all-company meetings and team travel designed to strengthen collaboration within a remote-first environment.
