Kaizen Collision Center in La Mesa is hiring an experienced Automotive Detailer.

We’re looking for someone who knows the difference between simply washing a car and professionally finishing a vehicle for customer delivery.

This is a fast-paced collision repair environment. Vehicles are moving, customers are waiting, and quality matters. We need someone who can work with urgency without cutting corners.

If you’re dependable, take pride in your work, and can consistently turn out clean, polished, delivery-ready vehicles, we want to talk to you.

• Complete final details on vehicles following collision repairs
• Wash and clean vehicle exteriors thoroughly
• Vacuum and detail interiors
• Clean windows, wheels, tires, door jambs, and hard-to-reach areas
• Remove dust, compound, tape residue, fingerprints, and repair-related debris
• Polish exterior surfaces when needed
• Perform a final visual inspection before vehicles are delivered
• Identify and immediately report anything that doesn't look right
• Move vehicles safely throughout the facility
• Keep the detail area clean, organized, and ready for production
• Work with technicians, estimators, and production staff to keep vehicles moving

• Has previous professional automotive detailing experience
• Can work quickly without sacrificing quality
• Notices the details other people miss
• Takes ownership of their work
• Shows up ready to work and can be counted on
• Understands how important the final presentation is to the customer
• Can handle a busy production environment
• Works well as part of a collision repair team
• Has a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Collision center or body shop detailing experience is strongly preferred.

Our La Mesa location needs someone who can keep up with a busy collision repair operation.

We aren't looking for someone who needs to be reminded what needs to get done. We're looking for a Detailer who can see what needs attention, handle it, and keep vehicles moving toward delivery.
