Shift:
Monday-Thursday: 6AM-4PM
Job Summary:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing a diverse range of skilled tasks, including the repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment, as well as conducting preventative maintenance to ensure optimal operation.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks according to the established schedule.
- Reduce downtime by conducting routine maintenance and training workers on the proper use of equipment.
- Maintain machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Replace defective parts and make necessary adjustments to equipment.
- Maintain equipment parts inventory, maintain supply levels, and complete all necessary forms and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Install new equipment and assist in relocating existing equipment as needed.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Perform general maintenance tasks for the building facilities.
- Carry out other tasks as assigned by your manager.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Advanced knowledge in using manual and power tools safely.
- Knowledge of GMP - ISO procedures and clean rooms is a plus.
- Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, hydraulics, heating, and air conditioning, a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient troubleshooting skills.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of prior experience in general maintenance or a combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience with general maintenance, electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to take apart machines, equipment, or systems to remove and replace defective parts.
- Professional presentation and attitude.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to regularly bend, stoop, move from ground level to higher levels, raise/lift from ground level and lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Ability to conduct repetitive climbing (ladders, lifts, and scaffolding), stooping, kneeling, bending, and reaching over head.
- Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections.
