The Advanced Services Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, growth, technical expertise, and management of the Western Region Advanced Services NDT and Pipeline Integrity group. This role performs billable field and technical work for the majority of their time while developing and implementing strategies to drive sustainable, profitable growth across advanced NDT and pipeline integrity services. The Advanced Services Manager collaborates closely with other Aegeus teams, provides technical expertise and support, develops and maintains strong client relationships, and identifies opportunities to expand services and market reach. This position is accountable for the department’s overall performance, including operational efficiency, financial results, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform billable advanced and pipeline integrity services for clients following client and company procedural requirements ensuring quality execution.
  • Develop and implement business development strategies to drive the Aegeus Inspections Western Region pipeline integrity and advanced services growth.
  • Develop, maintain, and foster relationships with existing and new clients to support business development for advanced services and pipeline integrity specifically in the western region market.
  • Provide technical expertise, direction and guidance to clients and employees for applications in advanced NDT methods and pipeline integrity.
  • Regularly monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress against business objectives, growth strategies, and market penetration.
  • Recruit and retain top talent to ensure the growth and success of the department while managing financial performance.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks to the department, including financial, operational, and compliance risks.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, industry associations, and community organizations to promote Aegeus Inspection services and solutions.
  • Perform job walks and site visits as necessary.
  • All other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of Advanced NDT and pipeline integrity principles, techniques, regulatory requirements, and codes and how they are applied in field operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and standards, including safety, quality, and environmental requirements.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • 10+ years of NDT experience to be able to understand and articulate applicable NDT techniques to be used for customer solutions.
  • 5+ years of advanced services and pipeline integrity experience.

CERTIFICATES AND LICENSES REQUIRED:

  • Ability to be certified or currently have an existing 3rd party Level II certification in UT, MT, and PAUT.
  • Valid driver’s license
