Position Summary
We are seeking a strategic, mission-driven, and highly creative Digital Marketing Manager to elevate our digital presence, build community engagement, and amplify our impact. In this role, you will own the end-to-end strategy, budget, and execution of all digital marketing channels — including organic storytelling, paid advocacy campaigns, website experiences, and donor-centric content marketing. As a manager, you will directly oversee one Digital Media Coordinator, guiding their daily execution while translating our mission into high-performing digital campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and sales. The ideal candidate blends creative storytelling with deep analytical skills and has experience inspiring people to take action for a cause
Responsibilities:
Digital Campaign & Strategy Ownership
- Envision, plan, and deploy integrated multi-channel digital marketing roadmaps (Paid Search, Social, Programmatic Display, CTV, and Audio) that align with brand goals.
- Collaborate and communicate regularly with entity partners to share direction, gather input, share results and best practices for optimum engagement and reach.
- Manage digital campaign budgets and develop campaigns and content within the agreed budget.
Digital Content & Brand Management
- Oversee the social media content calendar and website experiences to maintain voice consistency, visual excellence, and modern UX standards.
Creative Design
- Directly create or partner with a graphic designer to develop high-performing, award-worthy content and posts.
- Identify news and storytelling opportunities, write content, and capture or source photography/videography to support the story.
- Attend and promote events as necessary.
Paid Media Optimization
- Manage campaign through setup, launch and tracking including audience targeting, bid adjustments, and budget reconciliation across platforms such as Google Ads and major Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs).
Analytics & Data Reporting
- Track, test (A/B testing), and evaluate campaign KPIs using tools like Google Analytics to present actionable performance reports to leadership.
- Track and report spend plus ROI, CPA, CPC on digital campaigns.
- Ensure vendors receive accurate data from entities to support proper reporting.
SEO & Lead Generation
- Implement search engine optimization (SEO) best practices and optimize landing page funnels to maximize organic web traffic and lead capture.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Partner with internal and external copywriters, designers, and web developers to guide asset production from concept to completion.
- Manage vendor relationships.
- Provide reporting on campaign results for participating entities.
People Leadership
- Direct, mentor, and review the daily output of a Digital Marketing Coordinator, ensuring clear workflows and career development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Marketing, Communication, Business, or a closely related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience managing multi-platform digital marketing or digital media campaigns, with 1+ years of informal mentoring or direct management experience.
- Proven operational experience with Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, enterprise DSPs, and CMS solutions such as WordPress.
- Working knowledge of social media platforms and analytics with Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTock, LinkedIn, and others as needed.
- Deep understanding of digital web analytics, tracking tags, and attribution modeling to measure true ROI.
- Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic technical SEO barriers.
- Familiarity with creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or other design tools and video/photo conceptualization.
- Highly organized multi-tasker comfortable using collaborative platforms like Monday.com, Trello, or Asana.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and willingness to take initiative.
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 30 pounds.
Preferred Experience
- 2–4 years of management experience.
- Experience deploying automation workflows or using AI-driven bidding/creative testing solutions.
- Experience in B2B and B2C segment marketing.
