As a Painter, you will play a crucial role in the production function of this company. You will collaborate with various departments and external parties to maintain our Quality Standards and support our continued growth.

Essential Duties:

• Must be able setup Paint Rig/ Cup Gun to spray the parts you will coat that day.
• Must prep your own Units and Parts before painting
• Must be able to verify accuracy of color and mil thickness, against shop paperwork
• Must be willing to cross-train on other machines and/or in other areas of the shop
• Must be able to read blueprints and work within tolerance.
• Accurately record time and materials used, in computer after each job
• Complete assignments on-time and accurately
• Clean your work area after each job and prepare for the next job coming

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Licenses and Certifications: NA

Experience: 2+ years Painting Experience

Skills:

• Must be able to setup Paint System to produce Quality
• Must be able to read and write
• Must be able to operate computerized time keeping device to add labor to job
• Must be able to produce quality/ acceptable parts every time.
• Be mechanically minded and have a working knowledge of hand tools
• Must use all hand tools and company equipment in a safe manner
• Must abide by all company mandated, safety requirements, when on the property
• Must be willing to cross train on other machines and in other areas of the shop
• Must be a good Team Member

Other Requirements:

• Must maintain excellent attendance record.
• Must pass drug test and physical.

Other Physical Requirements:

The Position title will work primarily in the manufacturing environment, and subject to some outdoor environmental conditions, with exposure to occasional temperatures below 32 degrees or above 100 degrees. The noise level in the environment may be moderate to loud.
