ABOUT THE ROLE

Do you have a passion for edible artistry? At our locally owned Baskin-Robbins in Colleyville, the Cake Decorator is one of the most important positions in our shop. You are the creative force behind our custom ice cream cakes — the centerpieces of birthdays, anniversaries, and life’s biggest celebrations.

From building layered ice cream cakes to piping intricate designs with icing and chocolate, adding edible images, and maintaining a stunning display case, your craftsmanship is what sets our shop apart. If you take pride in doing beautiful, detail-oriented work and love making people’s special moments even sweeter, we’d love to have you on our team.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Design and assemble custom ice cream cakes for individual orders — bringing each guest’s vision to life
• Decorate cakes with icing, chocolate, edible images, and specialty decorations to Baskin-Robbins standards
• Maintain a beautifully stocked and visually appealing display case that showcases our products
• Prepare all cakes and frozen treats according to brand specifications and quality standards
• Stay current on new products and techniques by reviewing brand training videos as they’re released
• Manage cake, icing, and decoration inventory — ordering, rotating, and minimizing waste
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area at all times
• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
• Support the front-of-house team during busy periods as needed

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

• Cake decorating experience required
• Creative and artistic eye for detail
• Proficient with decorating tools and equipment
• Dependable and reliable
• Guest-centric mindset
• Ability to manage time and prioritize multiple orders
• Ability to obtain a Texas Food Handler certification

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Standing for extended periods
• Bending, stooping, and reaching
• Repetitive hand and wrist motion
• Lifting up to 50 lbs (boxes, ice, product)
• Working in a compact shop environment
