Inside Sales in Gillette, Wyoming at Twin Peaks Pump & Supply Inc

Job Summary

This role focuses on supporting customers by answering inquiries, processing orders, and providing technical product assistance. You’ll also be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships. Success in this position comes from clear communication, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of industrial or distribution sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and in-person
• Prepare and process quotes and sales orders accurately and promptly
• Assist with picking and packing orders
• Provide product information, pricing, and availability to customers
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through excellent service
• Coordinate with warehouse and delivery teams to ensure timely fulfillment
• Follow up on quotes and open orders to drive sales and customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records in the sales system
• Support outside sales representatives with pricing, order status, and product info
• Stay informed on product lines, industry trends, and inventory levels
• Troubleshoot customer issues and provide timely resolutions
• Other duties, as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college or technical training preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and accuracy in order entry
• Basic computer skills and experience with P21 and CRM systems
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a drug screen
• Forklift certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move up to 75 lbs.
• 1–2 years of inside sales or customer service experience
• Knowledge of industrial products (pipe, valves, fittings, etc.)
