Job Description

Description:

Who We Are

Driven by transparency, integrity, and a commitment to health equity, JAXSCO is a purpose-driven healthcare management and consulting partner for community-based organizations that traditional healthcare often overlooks. We empower HIV-service organizations, STI prevention programs, LGBTQIA+ clinics, FQHCs, and public health departments by strengthening 340B programs, managing pharmacy and clinic operations, and deploying telehealth solutions to ensure underserved populations receive essential care. Unlike traditional for-profit firms, JAXSCO reinvests a significant portion of its net income directly into partner organizations and their communities, measuring success by our partners' operational efficiency, financial sustainability, and lasting community impact. If you are driven to make a tangible difference in patients' lives while strengthening the balance sheets of vital nonprofit providers. If you are driven to make a direct impact on both patient care and nonprofit sustainability, JAXSCO is the place for you.

What You’ll Do (Job Summary)

The Strategic Partnerships Manager serves as a key business partnership growth driver responsible for expanding JAXSCO’s market presence and developing new business relationships across JAXSCO’s healthcare, pharmacy, 340B, clinical, purchasing, and NPS Pharmacy’s 340B and specialty pharmacy administrative service lines. Working alongside healthcare organizations and 340B covered entities, healthcare providers, and community partners, this role builds consultative relationships with executive, financial, clinical, and operational decision-makers to strengthen pharmacy operations, advance patient access, and support the organizational values and sustainability of the 340B Drug Pricing Program. The professional identifies prospective partners, conducts detailed discovery of complex healthcare and pharmacy models, and guides opportunities through the full consultative relationship-development lifecycle, from initial outreach to executed partnership agreements.

As the strategic bridge between prospective partners and internal subject-matter experts, this role translates complex pharmacy, 340B management, contract pharmacy, clinic management, telehealth, group purchasing, 340B, and clinical administrative pharmacy and management capabilities into compelling, mission-aligned partnership opportunities. This position collaborates closely with Pharmacy Operations, 340B Operations, Clinical Operations, Legal, Finance, Human Resources, and executive leadership to ensure sound solution design and smooth partner handoffs. By tracking industry trends, representing JAXSCO at national conferences, and maintaining pipeline discipline, the role advances organizational sustainable growth while supporting the broader mission of expanding healthcare and medication access for diverse, underserved, and marginalized patient populations.

Essential Job Functions

  • Lead the B2B consultative lifecycle partnerships for prospective 340B covered entities (Ryan White grantees, FQHCs, Section 318 STI programs, ASOs) from initial prospecting and outreach through proposal, contract execution, and onboarding handoff.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed assigned partnership quotas, net revenue targets, and quantitative KPIs through strategic territory planning, active pipeline discipline, and data-driven prospecting (phone, email, LinkedIn, digital video, conferences).
  • Build trusted, consultative relationships with C-suite executives, finance directors, pharmacy leaders, clinical directors, and 340B compliance officers to evaluate current pharmacy structures, compliance requirements, and financial growth opportunities.
  • Educate prospective partners on full-service JAXSCO and NPS Pharmacy capabilities, tailoring integrated business cases and financial proformas across:
  • 340B program management, compliance audits, contract pharmacy networks, entity-owned/onsite pharmacies, and specialty mail-order services.
  • Clinic management, virtual care/telehealth platforms, retail/340B GPO purchasing solutions, and MSO shared administrative services (HR, Finance).
  • Collaborate with internal technical subject-matter experts to model return-on-investment (ROI) analyses, draft formal proposals, and present compelling C-suite business cases.
  • Partner with 340B Operations, Pharmacy, Clinical, Finance, Legal, HR, and Client Success teams to move opportunities through approval workflows and deliver seamless, fully documented onboarding handoffs.
  • Maintain rigorous Salesforce CRM data integrity, tracking deal stages, revenue probability, meeting notes, and pipeline conversion analytics for executive forecasting.
  • Represent JAXSCO at local, regional, and national 340B conferences; monitor HRSA regulatory shifts and market dynamics; and share prospective partner feedback with internal teams to refine service offerings.
  • Travel up to 40% nationally for prospective partner meetings, covered entity site visits, and industry events (including overnight and multi-day travel).

Note: This list of essential job functions is comprehensive but not exhaustive. Other duties may be assigned based on business needs and the individual’s skill set.
