Job Description

AI Implementation Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an AI Implementation Specialist based in Switzerland.

This role offers the opportunity to help shape the future of healthcare technology by designing reliable, structured AI systems that support clinical decision-making.
You will work at the intersection of artificial intelligence, healthcare workflows, and product innovation to transform clinical knowledge into practical AI solutions.
Your expertise will help create trusted AI-generated documentation experiences that improve provider efficiency and patient care.
Working closely with clinical, product, and engineering teams, you will build governed workflows that move beyond simple prompting into scalable AI architecture.
This position is ideal for someone passionate about applied AI, structured knowledge systems, and creating technology that healthcare professionals can confidently rely on.
You will play a key role in defining how intelligent automation can enhance clinical operations while maintaining safety, consistency, and trust.

Accountabilities:

As an AI Implementation Specialist, you will design, structure, and optimize AI-powered clinical documentation workflows. You will transform healthcare knowledge into reliable AI assets, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help establish the foundations for safe and scalable AI-driven solutions.

  • Design, document, and continuously improve AI Note Templates that support clinical users throughout the patient journey.
  • Build structured AI workflows using GPT-based technologies, including prompt chains, output contracts, and intermediate reasoning structures.
  • Create and maintain retrieval-ready knowledge assets using structured formats such as JSON, ontologies, tagging systems, and retrieval schemas.
  • Convert trusted clinical resources, protocols, articles, and educational materials into governed AI knowledge structures.
  • Develop AI note-generation architectures incorporating templates, provider preferences, clinical rules, retrieval boundaries, patient-specific context, and human review processes.
  • Partner with product, engineering, and clinical teams to define AI strategy and improve intelligent clinical features.
  • Help transform AI-generated outputs into polished clinical artifacts rather than unstructured responses.
  • Support prototype development and contribute technical implementation when applicable.
  • Design safety frameworks and guardrails that improve AI consistency, explainability, and provider confidence.
  • Contribute to clinical intelligence solutions such as pre-visit summaries, encounter documentation, lab analysis, treatment insights, and follow-up workflows.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines knowledge of AI systems, structured data, and healthcare workflows. You should have experience building reliable AI solutions and the ability to translate complex information into practical, governed workflows.

  • Proven experience designing structured AI workflows, beyond simple free-text prompting.
  • Hands-on experience with prompt engineering, AI workflow design, or applied AI systems.
  • Ability to work directly with JSON, prompt contracts, retrieval schemas, and structured knowledge formats.
  • Familiarity with clinical documentation processes, electronic health records, or healthcare knowledge systems.
  • Experience transforming unstructured information into organized, reusable AI knowledge assets.
  • Strong understanding of how to create AI outputs that are safe, explainable, and trustworthy in healthcare environments.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with product, engineering, and clinical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a focus on quality.
  • Ability to understand AI limitations and design workflows that improve reliability and consistency.
  • Coding experience is a plus, particularly for prototype development and technical experimentation.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications.
  • Fully remote work opportunity.
  • Opportunity to contribute to innovative healthcare AI solutions with meaningful real-world impact.
  • Professional development and career growth opportunities.
  • Collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Opportunity to help improve healthcare workflows and provider experiences globally.
  • Exposure to emerging AI technologies and advanced clinical automation systems.
