Full-Time | Nashua, NH

Greater Nashua Mental Health is seeking a Therapist to support individuals participating in the Hillsborough County South Adult Recovery Court. This role provides evidence-based treatment for individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders, with a focus on reducing recidivism and supporting long-term recovery. The Therapist works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team and court system partners to deliver high-quality, integrated care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct screenings to determine eligibility for Recovery Court programming.
  • Complete comprehensive assessments using ASAM criteria and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based approaches.
  • Respond to client crises and provide support during emergencies as needed.
  • Collaborate with case managers, probation/parole officers, recovery coaches, and court staff to develop integrated care plans.
  • Communicate client progress and clinical updates to the multidisciplinary team and court system.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation within the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Utilize required databases and systems to document services and outcomes in accordance with contractual requirements.
  • Meet productivity and service delivery expectations.
  • Adhere to all agency policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in team meetings, supervision, and ongoing professional development.
  • Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field required.
  • Experience in substance use disorder and co-occurring treatment preferred.
  • License eligible in New Hampshire required.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment practices.
  • Ability to work effectively with justice-involved populations.
  • Strong collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Proficiency with electronic health records and Microsoft Office applications.
