What Youll Do
  • Empowerment: Implement Individual Service Plans (ISPs) and collect data to document personal progress and growth.

  • Support & Household Management: Assist with activities of daily living, including self-care, budgeting, grocery shopping, meal preparation, and household maintenance.

  • Community Engagement: Accompany and transport individuals to work, medical appointments, social engagements, and recreational activities.

  • Team Collaboration: Partner with the Residential House Manager and fellow team members to maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming home.

What Were Looking For
  • Heart & Passion: A genuine interest in working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

  • Character: A demonstrated ability to maintain respectful, ethical, and empowering relationships.

  • Physical Capacity: The ability to assist and lift individuals with physical disabilities or limited mobility.

  • Reliability & Flexibility: Strong communication skills (written/oral), high accountability for tasks, and the flexibility to cover extra hours or shifts when needed to support the household.

  • Certifications: Must possess MAP Certification, as well as CPR and First Aid Certificates.

  • Preferred: Previous experience or education related to developmental disabilities is a plus!
