1. Business Development & Market Expansion
- Identify new business opportunities across manufacturing industries.
- Build a strong sales pipeline through cold calling, networking, LinkedIn outreach, email campaigns, referrals, and industry events.
- Develop relationships with key decision-makers including plant heads, production managers, Operations Heads, IT Managers, Factory Managers, and Business Owners.
- Generate qualified leads and convert them into sales opportunities.
- Expand Inevia's presence in assigned territories across India.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging industries and customer requirements.
- Plan and manage daily field visits to maximize customer coverage within the assigned territory.
- Develop and execute territory-wise sales plans to achieve business objectives.
- Schedule and conduct regular face-to-face meetings with prospective customers and key stakeholders.
- Visit manufacturing plants to understand production processes, identify operational challenges, and recommend suitable digital transformation solutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers across customer organizations.
- Maintain an updated database of prospects and prioritize high-potential accounts for business development.
- Meet prospective customers to understand their manufacturing processes and operational challenges.
- Analyze customer pain points and recommend suitable digital transformation solutions.
- Present Inevia's software portfolio, including Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Production Monitoring, Project Management Solutions, and Custom Software Development.
- Conduct product demonstrations and customer presentations.
- Work closely with technical teams to prepare customized software solutions based on client requirements.
- Prepare business proposals, quotations, and solution presentations.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting to successful deal closure.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
- Negotiate commercial terms and finalize customer agreements.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts and opportunity tracking.
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
- Ensure timely follow-up on all sales opportunities.
- Build long-term relationships with customers.
- Act as a trusted advisor throughout the sales journey.
- Coordinate with implementation and support teams for successful project execution.
- Conduct regular customer visits and follow-ups.
- Identify opportunities for repeat business and referrals.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Gather customer feedback to support product enhancements.
- Participate in exhibitions, trade shows, manufacturing conferences, and networking events.
- Share market insights with management to support business growth strategies.
- Contribute ideas for expanding Inevia's product portfolio and service offerings.
- Strong B2B sales and business development skills.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication abilities.
- Ability to understand customer business requirements and recommend technology solutions.
- Strong relationship-building and account management capabilities.
- Consultative selling approach.
- Good understanding of industrial manufacturing environments.
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- CRM management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- MBA (Marketing,Sales) is an added advantage.
- 3–6 years of experience in B2B Sales or Business Development.
- Experience selling any of the following is highly preferred:
- Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- ERP Solutions
- Industrial Software
- SaaS Products
- Automation Solutions
- Digital Manufacturing Solutions
- Enterprise Software
- IT Solutions for Manufacturing
- Existing network within manufacturing companies will be an added advantage.
