In this dual-role position, you will combine inside sales support with hands-on warehouse tasks to ensure customer satisfaction and smooth operations. What you’ll do:

- Inside Sales Support:

• Handle customer requests for quotes, order processing, and follow-up communication.
• Greet and assist walk-in customers at the service counter, answering questions and guiding product selection.
• Support outside sales efforts with quotes, expedited orders, and sample requests.
• Assist in managing customer on-site inventory and replenishment programs.

- Warehouse & Fabrication Tasks:

• Perform fabrication duties such as cutting hoses, sheet rubber, and gasket materials to specifications.
• Build hydraulic and industrial hose assemblies, ensuring accuracy and meeting manufacturer specifications.
• Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, crimpers, Bandit, saws, and other necessary machinery.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, adhering to company safety protocols.
• Prepare and label outbound materials with appropriate shipping information.
• Perform daily maintenance on warehouse equipment, ensuring proper functionality.

- Customer Service & Operations Support:

• Serve customers at the service counter with excellent customer service.
• Assist with stocking shelves and filling customer orders.
• Perform in-process inspections and enter work order data accurately.
• Communicate workflow issues and equipment needs to the team.
• May assist in training new employees.
• Multitask efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

What you’ll need:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in inside sales and customer service preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience using tools and equipment, including hose cutting, crimping, and assembly.
• Basic math, measuring skills, and ability to read complex instructions.
• Good communication, problem-solving, and computer skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience with fluid power, plumbing, or HVAC products is a plus.
• NAHAD certification is a bonus.
• Physical ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds regularly.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
