Job Summary:
We are seeking a remote, proactive and resourceful IT Specialist to support and manage our small business’ technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a hands-on approach to IT support, a strong understanding of cloud services, and experience managing software, hardware, and vendor relationships. This is a critical role that supports day-to-day employees’ needs and ensures our systems run securely and efficiently. We are a remote Company operating in multiple states.
Key Responsibilities:
- Device & Asset Management:
- Use Microsoft Intune to track, manage, and secure laptops, monitors, and other devices.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all IT hardware and accessories.
- Help Desk & Technical Support:
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for employee IT issues, including sign-ins, credential resets, and troubleshooting.
- Onboard and offboard users with proper access and permissions.
- Cloud & System Administration:
- Administer and maintain Microsoft Azure and AWS environments.
- Manage Microsoft SharePoint, ensuring users have proper access and permissions.
- Oversee Microsoft 365, including email setup, license allocation, and Power Automate workflows.
- Experience with Scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols
- License & Contract Management:
- Keep accurate records of all telecoms, software, and hardware licenses and contracts.
- Monitor expiration dates, renewals, and compliance requirements.
- Process Automation & Improvement:
- Implement and maintain Power Automate workflows to improve business efficiency.
- Identify opportunities to streamline IT processes and reduce manual tasks.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an IT support or system administration role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Intune, Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint, and Power Automate.
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services.
- Strong organizational skills to manage hardware/software inventory and vendor contracts.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a small business environment.
- Certifications:
- AZ-104 (Microsoft Azure) – Mandatory or minimum 2-Yr experience
- AWS SAA (AWS)
- CompTIA Sec+ (General Security)
- CompTIA Net+ (general/hardware troubleshooting)
Not Required:
- Experience supporting remote and hybrid teams.
- Background in IT asset lifecycle management.
8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm
