TRAVEL Up to 10%
SALARY $55k - $60k

U.S. Ski & Snowboard is seeking a High Performance Data Coordinator. This is a full-time, beneficial position eligible for our full benefits package including medical insurance and retirement. For inquiries or help with your application, please email HR@usskiandsnowboard.org.
SUMMARY / OBJECTIVE
The High Performance Data Coordinator (HPDC) will support the utilization of data to support U.S. Ski & Snowboard athlete performance. The HPDC will be primarily responsible for managing the intake, maintenance, and communication of data in the Athlete Management System to all stakeholders within the organization. They will also work on assigned performance impacting projects as assigned by the Director of Performance Analytics. These projects will utilize experimental setup, data collection, and analysis using an array of software tools. The HPDC will be a problem solver with exceptional ability to translate data into actionable and meaningful output for team implementation.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Athlete Management System (AMS)
- Lead administration by managing permissions, group structures, and user access
- Work across teams to build intake forms and dashboards to visualize data
- Audit and improve processes around the AMS to improve experience and efficiency
- Responsible for policy and procedure around athlete data security and privacy
- Performance Data Projects
- Work with coaches and athletes to identify and evaluate different data related performance improvement opportunities
- Use statistical methodologies to collect and assess data across numerous topics
- Communicate insights to various stakeholders in a simple and meaningful manner
OTHER DUTIES
Assist Director of Performance Analytics with projects on demand basis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Ability to demonstrate the appropriate skills and techniques to be used by the athletes.
- Ability to visually monitor athletes.
- Sitting, standing, lifting and carrying (up to 50 pounds), reaching, squatting, climbing stairs, kneeling, and moving equipment/boxes up to 50 lbs.
QUALIFICATIONS
Undergraduate degree – Preferably in computer science, mathematics, or related quantitative field
COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE
- Strong quantitative/STEM background with experience in R, Python, and/or SQL
- Willingness to travel and manage new ski environments with different groups
- Very organized with excellent work ethic
- Experience in snow sports preferred, but not mandatory
- Strong interpersonal skills
