About the Role:

As a Credentialed Vet Technician at Chippens Hill Veterinary Hospital, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to our animal patients. Your primary responsibility will be to assist veterinarians in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions, ensuring the well-being of pets and their owners. You will also be responsible for performing laboratory tests, administering medications, and monitoring the health of animals during their treatment. Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited veterinary technician program.
  • Current veterinary technician credentialing (e.g., CVT, LVT, RVT).
  • Strong understanding of animal anatomy and physiology.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital setting.
  • Proficiency in using veterinary software and electronic medical records.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
  • Perform diagnostic tests, including blood work and radiography.
  • Administer medications and vaccinations as prescribed by the veterinarian.
  • Monitor and record the vital signs and health status of animals.
  • Educate pet owners on proper care and treatment plans.
