Nursing Assistant in Odessa, Texas at Medical Center Hospital

Position Summary:

Assists professional nursing staff by performing specific patient care tasks.

Qualifications:

A. Education:

High school graduate or equivalent.

1. CNA - Will be listed with the Texas Department of HealthNurse Aid Registry.

2. NA – Completion of MCHS NA training and/or verification ofcompetence.

B. Training and Experience:BLS Certification through the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire or transfer to department.

C. Job Knowledge:The certified nursing assistant/nursing assistant must have the ability to follow instructions precisely.
