Integration Engineer, Information Systems
JOB SUMMARY
- An Integration Engineer is tasked with planning, coordinating and managing the assimilation of new software applications and programs into an organization’s existing Health Information Technology environment. The analyst typically supports each department by determining its systemic needs, recommendation changes, implementing new software solutions and instructing users about the interface. Position advises on system integration techniques to the department heads for making operating activities more capable. He/she is also responsible for providing guidance on workflow improvements, conducting design training sessions, coordinating with data analysis and defining functional requirements. The analysts also monitors system efficiency and updates current software to correct errors
JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Extensive knowledge of hardware platforms, and enterprise software applications.
- Technical experience with systems, networking, Active Directory, and user support.
- Background in Microsoft .NET, Visual Basic, Excel, Word, Outlook and HTML.
- Good working knowledge skills with Microsoft Office Products, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Project.
- Working knowledge of Citrix, Active Directory and HL7 interfaces would be an asset.
- Strong project management skills with effective results focus within an information systems environment.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Experience in the development and implementation of standards, procedures and guidelines to support operational processes.
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage changing priorities.
- Proven ability to be flexible and work hard, both independently and in a team environment, in a high pressure on-call environment with changing priorities.
- Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours.
- Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
