Description
Spartanburg Methodist College invites applications for a part-time adjunct faculty position in Biology lab instruction for our on-ground program which will be offered during out traditional day program. The successful candidate will have experience teaching undergraduate lab courses in biology. Topics for this course include: basic chemistry, biochemistry, the scientific method, cell structure, photosynthesis, cellular respiration, inheritance, molecular biology, and biotechnology. The instructor is responsible for all facets of the lab, including planning assessments, and lab preparations. Some collaboration is expected with other lab instructors and the department chair or lead instructor. Classes Begin August 11th, 2026 for the traditional on-ground program. Teaching contracts may be renewed on a semester-by-semester basis pending enrollment, instructor availability, and student success.
