About This Position
Position Title: Outside Sales Consultant
Department: Sales
Reports to: Regional Sales Director
Status: Full-Time, Exempt
Territory Includes: Odessa, TX, Midland, TX and surrounding areas
Job Summary: Our Outside Sales Consultants form partnerships with our clients, understanding their business and developing creative solutions that deliver on their needs, while generating revenue for SSG across their assigned territory. They also partner with their local store team to drive business in the market.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Meet and exceed sales revenue goalsBuild strong business partnerships with all customersProspect and acquire new salon businessProvide business solutions to new and existing clients Meet the business objectives and needs for each customer in collaboration with the sales management teamRepresent SSG at events, communicating core beliefs and developing strong relationships Accurate forecasting of business and regular updates to sales leadershipSuccessful Outside Sales Consultants will be goal oriented, persuasive, have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, an outgoing personality, and a professional appearance.
Requirements & Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in sales, preferably b2b. Experience in or strong passion for beauty Creative thinker and problem solverAmazing communication skills; a networking starStrong presentation and negotiation skills Contribute and drive sales as an individual, yet also a team player who supports their colleagues and the company’s overall visionMust have valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportationAny offer of employment will be contingent on passing a Motor Vehicle Record checkMust be able to travel regionallyThis position requires daily driving of a sales route, occasional lifting up to 30 pounds, walking, and standing.
