Overview
Infiltrator Water Technologies (IWT) is a market leader within the onsite wastewater treatment industry, Infiltrator manufactures a variety of revolutionary products and innovative, environmentally friendly alternatives to traditional stone and pipe leachfield and concrete septic wastewater system components. IWT is a wholly owned subsidiary of Advanced Drainage Systems (ticker: WMS, NYSE).
The majority of our products are produced almost entirely from recycled resins. Infiltrator’s recycling operation is among the country’s top twenty producers / consumers of recycled resins and among only a few of whom consume 100% of that resin in the finished products produced. Infiltrator operates some of largest molding machines and robotics producing the largest plastic molded parts in the world. IWT has always and continues to compete on innovation; we hold over 200 patents.
Responsibilities
NOW HIRING Shift Supervisors to join our team on night shift. 2-2-3 schedule working 7pm-7am.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
In this role, the qualified candidate’s primary responsibility is to ensure safety, quality, productivity, and house keeping by supervising a departmental shift. Responsible for ensuring that all policies, procedures, and work instructions are utilized and adhered to by team members.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct supervision of all molding operators, technicians, and utility personnel (7-7 on a 2/2/3 schedule).
- Responsible for safety in the operation. Participates and/or leads plant safety teams. Maintains a safe work environment and insures safe complies with PPE requirements.
- Responsible for insuring that production meets all quality standards and that production schedule is met.
- Ensure that molding metrics targets for scrap, downtime, % of standard, cycle time, labor utilization and safety are met.
- Accurately reports production, scrap and labor each shift.
- Ensure material recipes meet specifications and cost targets. Ensure that the Materials Blend Sheet is kept up to date.
- Ensure the accurate reporting of employee time sheets.
- Completing employee evaluations on time and with accuracy.
- Responsible for holding team accountable to IWT standard work procedures and standards of conduct.
- Develop staff and effectively cross train employees
- Must have work shift flexibility to support other shifts at other buildings according to operational needs.
- Must be willing to give breaks and add support where needed in the operation.
- Complete any assigned training and on-boarding requirements within 60days of assignment.
QUALIFICATIONS (must have):
- 4yr degree preferred
- At least 5yrs of experience in manufacturing (injection molding preferred)
- At least 2yrs experience is a supervisory or management role.
- Knowledge of financial concepts related to Manufacturing (absorption, budgeting, etc.)
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills. Must be able to coordinate resources to get the job done.

- Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and ability to use data to drive decision making.
